I’m sure this isn’t really the testimonial you imagined you’d get for this guide: but I actually bought this for my wife. She has Bi-Polar Disorder and I was curious about how her changing hormones affected her moods and manic episodes. She has a licensed support team in place, but doesn’t want to take medication (and I don’t blame her), so as an experiment, we started tracking her cycle together, so she could observe herself, and I could also observe and support her. At first she was annoyed, but after the first month, she noticed how beneficial the self awareness was - and I noticed immediate ways I was able to support her more fully. This obviously isn’t a disclaimer, I can’t say if this will help anyone else with mental illness or a behavioral disorder in the same way: but it has drastically helped my wife feel more sane in a world that constantly tells her she is not.
