Why Investing in Yourself Is Directly Connected to Your Personal Power

I’ve had a lot people complain about the cost of my upcoming OYoga Workshop, which is a perfect example to speak on investing in yourself and how choosing to invest in yourself is directly connected to your personal power.

What it comes down to these 3 things:

1. If you want something bad enough, you know you *need it bad enough, you’ll make it happen.

2. If you don’t want it or need it enough, you’ll say you do but won’t do anything about it.

3. You’ll blame everything and anything, come up with any reason to NOT to the thing you need to do the most.

If you aren’t willing to invest in yourself, you are sending a message to the universe (whatever your beliefs may be) that you aren’t willing to do what you have to do to say YES to yourself and stand in your power.

Because if you are ready for something, if you commit to it and say YES, the universe will literally conspire to make it happen for you. I’ve seen this happen time and time again with my clients, friends and colleagues.

Take my best friend: she's a single mom of 2. She KNEW she had to work with this one coach. It was a fully body immediate yes. She said yes and manifested $20K. Thats TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS that she didn’t have that came to her by way of standing in her power and declaring YES this is what I need and this is what I’m doing to do to do it.

I’ve had clients who had investments come to fruition at the right time, who cleaned out the closets and took stuff to the consignment store, who stopped getting Starbucks daily or stopped going out or eating out to direct their finances towards coaching with me.

And I GET IT. There are bills to pay, kids to feed, expenses that come up.

But all too often, the BIGGEST reason women give for not doing the work, showing up for themselves, and getting the tools they need to move on, heal, thrive and grow comes down to money.

“My husband says not now” … “I feel too selfish because that’s money that could be going towards the kids” … or the most heartbreaking, "I don’t feel worthy enough to say THIS IS WHAT I NEED."

Coaches who charge big rates usually do so because it reflects the amount of transformation and breakthroughs that come from working with them.

All the powerful life changing things I've I’ve said yes to have had big price tags (yoga training, therapy, biz coaching, the list goes on) and everything I’ve said yes to has provided me with massive results.

I would NEVER be the woman I am if I hadn’t seriously invested in myself.

These investments provide me with the opportunity to be seen, held, understood, pushed and supported.

And I really hope you get that this post honestly isn’t about my workshop, because I have the tools, I know they work, I know they change bodies, lives and create inner strength. I know what I offer and I stand by my work.

So if my workshop speaks to you, that’s great. And if it doesn’t: WHAT DOES?

What is that thing that you have been thinking about or knowing deep down that you need but haven’t been willing to pull the trigger to say YES or fully admit to yourself that you need it?

Because this is the truth Buttercup: not investing in yourself financially is an excuse for not *investing* in yourself.

Yes there is so much you can do on your own, learn, grow, read, and get help or handouts when you need them.

The problem is when we come to RELY on help and handouts. When we won’t agree to grow unless someone gives us a discount. And the bigger problem really, is that there is only so much we can do on our own.

We NEED other people to see us, guide us, hold us up, show us the way, lend a perspective we haven’t been aware of. We need to be able get out of our own way and have other people tell us how it is.

Whether it’s, "hey, you’re okay, hey you’re doing a hell of a lot, hey I think you’re holding yourself back, hey I see this unhealthy pattern in your life, or hey, I can give you the tools you need to move froward."

Not investing in yourself is will drain you of your personal power because you are denying yourself the very thing you need to be able to STAND IN your personal power.

Whew. Rant complete.

My final request: PLEASE say yes to yourself. INVEST in yourself. Take the big jump. Do what you need to do. THIS is what leads you deeper into your power. Showing up, saying yes, doing the work and having support is part of the process once you ACKNOWlDEGE WHAT YOU NEED AND GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO GIVE IT TO YOURSELF.

With a loving nudge, Ashly

And PS honestly, with my hourly rate at $200, the workshop is a STEAL of a deal. This post isn't about my workshop but I’m using the workshop as an example because it’s a realistic one and I'm using numbers because sometimes I think provides perspective.

My hourly rate is $200. My coaching programs are $5k The workshop is $244 if you sign up with a friend or $344 if you pay in full. The VALUE you are getting from the whole weekend workshop rakes in financially at over $2k.

The value you are getting in terms of your relationship with yourself as a woman is honestly priceless.  You can't put a price on healing, confidence and feminine power.

And honestly, I started the workshop out at $444 but lowered it to make it more doable - to make it EASIER for you to say yes to yourself.

Because I know price is a factor. But I also know it’s an excuse and it’s interesting all the excuses I’ve seen surface around women who “need to do this work” but “can’t afford it”.

Honestly, the price of this workshop is a steal: $244 for nearly 20 hours of life changing content to not just thinking your way into being the woman you’re ready to be, but leaving the weekend AS THE WOMAN you are ready to be.

But, like I said, this post isn't really about my workshop, it's just too good of an example and I feel like it may be benefit for you reading it, not to mention, that when women stand in their power in what they charge, it gives other women permission to do the same.

Ok really, rant complete <3  If this piqued you're interest in the workshop you can check it out or sign up HERE.
